Mr. Hart was born in Caldwell County to the late George Arthur Hart and Mary Ethel Barlow Hart. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Douglas, Vernard, Burtless, Ed, Bill, Dewey, Ted, Gene and Arthur Hart, and his sisters, Ruby H. Carlton and Viola H. Walsh. Wade was a long time member of Mountain Grove Baptist Church, a retiree of the furniture industry and a charter member of the North Catawba Fire and Rescue for 24 years.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 60 years, Arlea Greene Hart of the home; his daughters Margaret Coffey Seagle and husband Dock of Hudson and Mickey (Mildred) Coffey Seagle of Lenoir; his sister, Ann Hart Crowe and husband Mack; his four grandchildren, Scott Seagle and wife Melissa, Jacqueline Seagle Holman and husband Mike, Cyndee Seagle and Karen Seagle Laws and husband Clinton; his three great grandchildren, Tyler Holman and wife Lauren, Aaron Laws and Madeline Seagle; and a special close family friend, Lisa Cole.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 11, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in Pendry’s Chapel with his nephew the Reverend Ron Greene of Oakgrove Baptist Church in Newland officiating. The family will receive friends at Pendry’s Lenoir Funeral Home prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at Mountain Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family requests that memorials be made to North Catawba Fire and Rescue, 2064 Connelly Springs Road, Lenoir, NC 28645.
