He was born April 21st, 1963 in Caldwell County. Ralph was preceded in death by his parents Bobby Russell Kirby and Barbara Lynch Kirby, and a brother Robert William Kirby.
He survived by his wife Margaret "Vangie" Kirby, a brother John Russell Kirby II, two sisters Beverly Kirby Triplett (Travis) and Gloria Kirby, a step-daughter Elisha Woodring Garren (husband Frank), a step-son Matthew "Matt" Triplett, grandchildren Alexis Miller and Landyn Crump.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM at First Baptist Church of Whitnel, 1201 Connelly Springs Rd., Lenoir, NC, 28645. The memorial service will follow at 3:00 PM at the church with Pastor Steve Hedgecock and Pastor Michael DeBere officiating. A rendering of "You'll Never Walk Alone" will be performed by Gus Bolick.
Ralph will be surely missed by his many friends and family.
