Mr. Jenkins was born in Caldwell County to the late Helen Carol Greene Jenkins and Jerry Jenkins of Lenoir. He was employed with Broyhill Industries and attended Whitnel Pentecostal Holiness Church.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his step-mother, Joann Rebecca Jenkins of Lenoir; his son, David Alan Jenkins of the home; his daughter, Alyssa Cheyenne Jenkins of Boone, his step-daughter, Tiffany Marie Hicks; his sister, Lorie Ann Huffman and husband James Eric Huffman of Lenoir, and a niece, Cecilia LeeAnn Wilcox of Lenoir.
Services will be held at Whitnel Pentecostal Holiness Church Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. Family will speak to friends directly after service.
