She was born November 9, 1954 in Ashe County to Charles and Betty Phillips of Hudson.
Funeral service will be held 11am Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at Pendry’s Funeral Home Chapel.
She was a nurse for many years and served in the medical field with honor.
She is survived by her parents Charles and Betty Phillips of Hudson, North Carolina; brother, Steven Phillips of Hudson, North Carolina; brother-in-law, Dudley Nelson of Lenoir, North Carolina; niece, Kayla Pitman of Hudson, North Carolina; nephew, Logan Phillips of Hudson, North Carolina.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Katrina “Cookie” Nelson.
