Sheila Marie Rigg

After graduating from City College she soon became a preschool teacher. For the next 30 years you could find her at C.F.Y.I. (Center for young imaginations) in La Mesa. She loved working with her kids. You could tell however when Friday came around, she had her Starbucks drink and classic saying, “Is it Friday yet!?” She will be missed in the classroom and by her CFYI family.

Sheila reconnected with Robert (Bob) Rigg in 1994 and they were married in 1995. Over the last 19 years Sheila has traveled many places. She loved to entertain friends and family. For sure, no none ever left her home hungry or without a plate of food. She had an energy and a bright light about her; you knew that when she was in the room.

She is survived by her husband Robert Rigg, stepsons Jeff and Kyle Rigg, and extended family Joann, Joe and Richey Lamontagne.

She will be deeply missed.
