Mr. William R. (Bill) Palmer, age 83 of Moody, Alabama passed away on Monday, December 11, 2023. He is preceded in death by his parents, Wilford and Audrey Cash Palmer. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Sandra Anne Palmer; his son, Russell A. Palmer (Christy); his granddaughter, Gracelynn Faith Palmer; his grandson, Bradley Madaris; his sister, Sandra Tipton and husband, Hubert Tipton; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Bill always loved gardening, tractor, and classic cars. He was a member of Moody Methodist Church and retired from Anderson Electric, Hubbell Inc. He will be truly missed. Services for Bill will be Thursday, December 14, 2023. The visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM with the funeral service to begin in the chapel at 1:00 PM. The burial will follow at Moody Cemetery. Services directed by Kilgroe Funeral Home 1750 Ashville Road Leeds, Alabama.
