She was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Lydia Bachman.

She is survived by her children: Blake (Beth) Ballentine, John (Dana) Ballentine, Beth (Rick) King, and Rob (Patti) Ballentine, her grandchildren: Kevin Lehner (Sarah), Bridget Waid (Brad), Morgan Layfield (Nick), Daniel Henderson (Savannah), Kadie Juskiewicz (Walter), Robbie Ballentine (Joanna), her great grandchildren: Olivia, Molly, Elijah, Hadley, Danleigh, Oaklynne, Theo and Alma, her brother William Bachman (Rebecca) and her sister Barb Huckeba (Bob).

Sandy loved her children, books, dogs, movies, dinners out, good friends, the art of miniatures and a good glass of white wine!
