He was a graduate of the University of Alabama. He was a used car dealer and member of the First United Methodist Church of Leeds and sang in the choir for over sixty years.
Preceded in death were his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Dwight Blair; brother, Alfred Dwight Blair Jr. and sister, Carolyn Louise Blair.
Survivors are his wife, Lena Blair, daughters, Paula Blair Ray, Catherine Elaine Blair, brother, Samuel Blair, several nieces and nephews,
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 29, 2013 at 1 PM with funeral services at 2 PM at Kilgroe Funeral Home Leeds Chapel with burial at Cedar Grove Cemetery.
