Kevin Lee Praytor

Kevin Lee Praytor, 56, of Moody, AL was born on August 9, 1966 in Birmingham, AL to Tom and Pam Praytor, passed away unexpectedly at home on April 24, 2023. Kevin was a beloved Husband, Father, Brother and Son.

Kevin was preceded in death by his father Thomas L. Praytor. He is survived by his mother Pamela Russell Praytor, his wife of 26 years Lisa Mueller Praytor, their twin boys Lee and Ray Praytor, sisters Angie Fincher (Kelly), Amiee Price (Kyle) brother Russ Praytor (Shelby) and a host of nieces and nephews.

After graduating from Hewitt Trussville High School in 1984 and a few short jobs, Kevin had a successful career at Alagasco/Spire for 35 years until his retirement in March 2022. After retirement Kevin enjoyed spending time with his family and watching his boys play baseball and football. He was at every practice and game cheering on the 411 boys. He was always there to help take the boys home and lend a helping hand anytime he was needed. His love for the community, the sport and the kids was seen through his daily actions and everyone will miss him.

The family will receive friends and family on Friday, April 28, 2023, from 11:00 – 1:00 at First Baptist Moody with a celebration of Kevin’s life to follow at 1:00 with Bro. Brad Mosley officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Moody High School football and baseball program in honor of Kevin’s memory. Donations can be made at Metro Bank in Moody, AL.
