Karen Ursula Thompson

Thompson, Karen Ursula age 58 passed away at home, Tuesday, December 15, 2020. Karen was a member of "Comforters Church" in Temple, GA where she loved her church family. She worked at Global Logistics in Georgia as a freight forwarder specialist for many years with her boss, Blake and friend as well as other loyal coworker friends. She enjoyed crafts, yard work, good food and traveling for which the beach was one of her favorite places. Karen's heart belonged to the Lord, her family, friends, and country.

Karen is preceded in death by her father, Robert Grant "Bob"; grandparents, Andy and Elvie Grant "Papa and Tanny"; Fritz and Katharina "Opa and Oma" with other aunts, uncles cousins and friends.

She is survived by her daughter, L. "Paige" Chism; five grandchildren, Jailyn, Falala, Hami, Asha, and Saifyy; her mother, Liesel McDowell; sister, Carmen Brown (Jimmy); nephews, Grant Montgomery (Kim), Logan, McKenzie and McKenley, Carson Montgomery (Laura), Aidan and Mia and a host of friends.
