Jean Simmons

Jean Simmons, age 91, of Odenville, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, February 2, 2022. Jean was born March 14, 1930. Jean was the secretary for the County Extension Office for 40 years. She was saved at 9 years old and also First Baptist Church Odenville's oldest member.

She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Clara Simmons; brother, Clayton Simmons and nieces Mavis Salser and Yvonne Simmons.

Jean is survived by her nieces, Elaine Cash (Bud) and Jenice Glass (Jay); great nieces, Amy Stanford (Kent), Jennifer Grooms, Kelly Anderson; great nephews, Scott Salser (Lisa), Mike Cash (Mandy); 11 great great nieces and nephews and 2 great, great, great nieces.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 13, 2022 at Kilgroe Funeral Home, Leeds from 12:00PM until 2:00PM. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 13, 2022 at Kilgroe Funeral Home, Leeds beginning at 2:00PM with burial to follow at First Baptist Church Odenville Cemetery.
