Mr. Self was preceded in death by his mom, Inda Caroline McCay Self; dad, Green Oliver Self; 1st wife of 48 years, Stella Mae Silas-Self; sisters, Alma Higgins, Lucille Davis; brothers, Clint, Clay, Clarence, Lawrence and Sherrill. Mr. Self was a devoted

Man of God, focused on, God, Family, Country & Community to the best of his ability. He was a Veteran having served overseas in active duty. He built and supported, multiple Churches and Missions (most noted by his daughter in law) he helped re-build her family home, when it was destroyed by fire a couple of years after she was married.

He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Bobbie Franklin-Self; children, Jerry & Lynn Graham; grandchildren, John & Amber May, Jerrid Graham and a host of nieces, nephews with extended family & friends.

Funeral Services will be held at Well Springs on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at 2PM with burial at Forest Crest Cemetery.
