Ernest E Tatum Jr., age 84, of Leeds, Alabama passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2022. He proudly served in the United States Army, he was a 32nd degree Master Mason, a member of the Zomora Shriner's of Birmingham, AL, as well as served a member at North Valley Church in Margaret, AL.
Ernest was born and raised in Prattville, AL. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ernest E. Sr., and Emogene Ott Tatum, two brothers and four sisters.
Ernest is survived by his wife, Lanette Tatum; daugther, Nancy Reese (Lee); son, Ernest E. Tatumm III "Bubba"; 8 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Due to the weather the graveside service will be held in our chapel on Thursday, November 17, 2022 at Kilgroe Funeral Home, Leeds. Rick Deerman will be officiating services.
