Eleanor Zenobia Howard, age 79, of Vandiver, Alabama, passed away on Monday, October 14, 2024. She was born in Bon Air, Alabama. Eleanor is preceded in death by her parents, Abner and Leota Vickers; husband, Richard L. Howard; sister, Juanita Howard; brother, James Donald Vickers; son, Jerry Ricky Howard. Eleanor is survived by her daughters, Sheila (Ivan) Grimes and Amanda (Stephon) Howard; sons, Victor Howard and Darren Howard; grandchildren, Matthew Grimes, Brandon Howard, Jeremy Grimes, Skyler Castleberry, Kalen Castleberry, Crystal Cates, Kevin Howard, Nathaniel Hulsey and Haley Hulsey; great-grandchildren, Allen Grimes, Grayson Castleberry, Waylon Grimes, Beau Leland, Hollie Grimes, and Avaree Morris; sister, Shirley Lynn; brother, Jerry Vickers. A Visitation will be held on Wednesday October 16, 2024 from 6:00-8:00PM from Vandiver Church of God in Vandiver, Alabama. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday October 17, 2024 at 2:00PM from the Church. Burial will be at Union Hill Cemetery.
