Edward R. Reaves, of Leeds, known by his family and friends as “Ed” or “Pop,” passed away on May 3, 2015. He was 88 years old. Mr. Reaves was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Margaret Reaves.
He is survived by his son, Tommy Reaves (Patti) of Leeds and daughter Charlotte Hunter (Glenn) of Moody; grandchildren Lance Hunter (Erin), Shelley Futrell (John), Adam Reaves (Georgia), Brandon Reaves (Brittany) and great grandchildren Ellie Grace, Ella Claire, Hunter, and Kinley.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2015 beginning at 11:00am with Funeral Services to begin at 1:00pm at Kilgroe Leeds Chapel with a Military Graveside Service to follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial gifts be made to the American Cancer Society, 1100 Ireland Way, Birmingham, AL 35205.
