Mrs. Parker was retired from Financial Affairs at UAB.
She is survived by her husband, Larry Parker, daughter, Laurie Parker Hurst, son, John Parker (Angie), mother, Helen Underwood, sister, Harriett Bailey, grandchildren, Christopher Parker, Bailey Hurst, Chad Parker and Britten Hurst.
Visitation will be Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at Union Hill Freewill Baptist starting at 6 PM.
Graveside Services will be held at 4 PM on Thursday, July 25, 2013 at Union Hill Freewill Baptist Cemetery in Vandiver.
