Mr. Gomer worked as a truck driver for Commercial Hauling for 29 years. His favorite Bible Verse was John 3:16.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Charlotte Gomer, daughters, Crystal Parks, Carla Gomer, Karen Lamberth (Ronnie), Brandi Gomer, son, Curtis Lynn Gomer (Kimberly), sister, Sue Eason, brother, Randy Gomer, 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Sunday, August 24, 2014 from 5 PM until 8 PM at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds.
Funeral Services will be held at Kilgroe Funeral Home Leeds Chapel on Monday, August 25, 2014 at 11 AM with burial at Forest Crest Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the American Diabetes Association.
