It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our much loved dad and cherished grandpa, on June 28, 2012 in his 80th year. He is survived by his loving wife, Joyce; his children: Karen (Al), Kenny (Gabe), Jerry (Sue), Cathey and Shelley; fifteen grandchildren and twenty-five great-grandchildren. George will be sadly missed by his sisters: Marie, Lillian, Rita and Denise; his brother Christian, as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He was predeceased by parents Renee and Walter; son: Lorne; son-in-law: Eddy; sisters: Claire and Theresa.
A Tribute to dad’s life will be held in the Lancaster ballroom at the Executive Royal Inn, 8450 Sparrow Drive, Leduc, at 1:30 p.m. July 20th. A heartfelt thank you to the staff of the Palliative Care Unit at the Leduc Hospital, for their care and compassion.
