Mervin D. Kissinger, Sr., 83, Lebanon, passed away on Monday March 12, 2018 in the Wellspan Good Samaritan Hospital. He was born in Lebanon on January 27, 1935 a son of the late Weiman and Vivian Bennett Kissinger. Mervin was employed by the Lebanon Paper Box for many years. He had played football at Lebanon High School and later for the Lebanon Rams semi-pro team. He also played fast pitch softball in Lebanon County for several years. He enjoyed woodworking and hunting as well attending sporting events of all of his grandchildren. He is survived by a son: Mervin D. Kissinger, Jr. and wife Audrey; grandchildren: Tiffany wife of Chris Hauck; Craig Kissinger and fiancé Brooke Rettew; great-grandchildren: Jorden wife of David Murray and Emily Hauck; gt. Great-granddaughter: Ellie Murray. He is also survived by brothers: Frederick and Wayne Kissinger. Mervin was preceded in death by brothers: Ronald Kissinger and William Leeper and sisters: Joyce Harris and Monica Reddinger. Memorial services will be held on Friday at 2:00 pm in the Rohland Fuenral Home, 508 Cumberland St., Lebanon, PA 17042 where a time of visitation will be held from 1:00pm to the time of service. The family suggests memorial contributions be made in lieu of flowers to Calvary Chapel, 740 Willow St., Lebanon, PA 17046.
