Elmer H Wolfe

Elmer H. Wolfe, 64, Lebanon, died Friday January 4, 2012 in the Hyman S. Caplan Pavilion after a lengthy illness. He was the husband of Janice F. Thierwechter Wolfe with whom he would have celebrated a 18th wedding anniversary in June. He was born in Ephrata on December 27, 1948 a son of the late Elmer J. and Dorothy Moore Wolfe. He was a retired heavy equipment operator having worked for PennDot for over 20 years. He was a 1968 graduate of Ephrata High School and attended Zion of Iona U. M. Church. Elmer enjoyed hunting, camping and boating. In addition to his wife he is survived by sons: Robert L. Witman, William H. Wolfe and Timothy B. Wolfe, all of Lebanon; 9 grandchildren; brothers: Jerry and Kenneth Wolfe; and sister: Elaine Clement; also nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother: Dennis Wolfe. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 12:00 P.M. in the Rohland Funeral Home, 508 Cumberland St., Lebanon, PA 17042 where a viewing will begin at 11:00 A.M. Interment will be made in Grand View Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Zion of Iona U. M. Church, 1920 S. Fifth Ave., Lebanon, PA 17042.
