Anna enjoyed sewing, gardening, canning and preserving whatever came from her garden, and whatever she could get at the produce stands, to have available over the winters. She enjoyed singing in choirs, playing piano and the accordion for all who would listen. She also had a very strong faith and was an active member of Calvary Church; focusing her time on their music and often helping with the church’s many activities. She loved to feed people and would employ her culinary skills serving and preparing noon meals at numerous locations throughout Lebanon. She spent many days volunteering her sewing and retail skills at Cedar Haven Nursing Home as well. Anna also spent time with the Board of Electors, volunteered as a poll worker for many elections, over the course of recent years. Anna was involved with the Gatekeepers program where she gave her guidance to help the people involved. She enjoyed meeting people and making new friends, wherever she went. She enjoyed her time playing games and traveling with and to see her grandkids and great grandkids. She took many trips and was able to visit Israel three times.
Per Anna’s wishes, no service or viewing is scheduled at this time. A memorial celebration of life is planned for February 1, 2025, at 1:00 pm, at the Calvary Church of Lebanon, 1330 Pennsylvania Ave., Lebanon, PA 17046. And in lieu of flowers, donations in Anna’s name can be sent to Calvary Church of Lebanon. She will be tenderly remembered and greatly missed by her many loved ones.
