He remained courageous in his battle to overcome his brief illness, with his usual humor, wit, and love to all the nurses and his family.
Preceded in his death was Joann Duncan mother, Wilfred Anthony Olivier father, dear stepfather William Travis Duncan, and brother Freddy Olivier.
Survivors include Theresa Schindler Olivier wife, Linda Stevens sister, Jackie Olivier sister, Janice Stahl sister, Teri Canal sister, and Kevin Duncan brother. Children include Michael Dustin Olivier son, Kristin Gray Granados daughter, and Seth Allen Buckner son.
Michael had 8 grandchildren, Isaiah Michael Olivier 23, Whesley Jay Olivier 17, Vera Gray Granados 7, Antone Epifano Granados 4, Brock James Buckner 5 months, Ellis Hunter Patterson 9, Travis Suttree Patterson 6, and Weston Shepard Patterson 4.
Also dear to Michael were the many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A memorial service for Michael will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 1200 S Bagdad Road, Leander, Texas 78641, with a reception to follow until 2:00 PM. Please wear something bright or tropical to the services, as his favorite place was Playa del Carmen, Mexico, and other places in the Caribbean. Many vacations there since 2004, and most recently March 2024. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to one of the favorite charities of Michael & Theresa: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Tunnel to Towers Foundation, or Arbor Day Foundation.
