Mary A. Wells was born in Henderson, TX on November 11, 1933. She passed away peacefully in Austin TX on August 1, 2022. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her four children, daughter Jan Pertschuk of Rancho Santa Fe, Ca.; son Clay Wells of Aspen, Co.; son Andy Wells (Dana) of Austin; and daughter Teresa Marie Wells (and partner Cathy) of Georgetown, Tx. She had eight grandchildren and one great grandchild. Mary graduated from Austin High School in 1951 and was a proud member of the Austin High Red Jackets, she was a long-time resident of Austin and she loved anything associated with The University of Texas. Mary could be found at UT football, basketball, and baseball games cheering on the Longhorns.
