Lisa was born June 15, 1967 in Austin, Texas to Geneviève and Isaac Galvan. Lisa graduated from Southwest Texas state university with a degree in criminal justice. She went on to become a police officer with the Austin Police Department. In 1998, she was afforded the opportunity to fulfill her newfound life’s purpose as a stay at home mom to her four children. During her time at the police academy she met her husband Ron Smith. Over their 28 years of marriage they enjoyed traveling to San Benito for Galvan family reunions, going to south padre island, and attending the family’s horse racing events. As their children grew, they spent their free time participating in their children’s activities. Lastly, she was a devout Dallas Cowboys fan.
Lisa is preceded in death by Juanita “Momo Grande” Soto and Carol Smith.
To cherish her life she leaves behind her parents Genevieve and Isaac Galvan; her husband Ron; her sons, Adam and his wife Brittaney and their daughter Blayke, Daniel, and Ricky; and kindred spirit daughter Amanda; her big sister Gina Fraustro, sister Lucinda Harris, sister Irma Galvan; and numerous nieces and nephews.
