Survivors include his wife, Connie Clayton; sons, Jonathan Clayton and Jeremy (Brandi) Clayton; brothers, Willie Paul Clayton and Travis Clayton; sisters, Pearl Looney and Peggie Suratt; grandchildren, Dylan Clayton, Natalyn Clayton, Ian Clayton, Max Clayton, and Lily Clayton
He was preceded in death by his father, Claire Clayton, and his mother Beatrice Crouch Clayton.
Visitation will be held at Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 31st, 2018 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
A chapel service will be held at Pettus-Turnbo Chapel at 2:00 pm on August 1st, 2018 with Bro. Jerry Clayton and Bro. Ralph Creekmore officiating. Burial will be in Bumpas Cemetery.
