Sharon Lea Davis Chambless

Sharon Lea Davis Chambless, age 72, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away on Wednesday, November 22nd, 2023 at North Alabama Medical Center. She was a member of the Elk’s Lodge. She was also known by her alias of Sharon Jean. In her spare time, she loved to travel alongside her husband, Jerry, as well as spend time with her loving family. She was of Christian Faith.

She was preceded in death by Parents, Thomas Smoot and Margaret McClain Clark; Former Husband, Marshall Davis; Two Grandchildren, Bryan Tankersley, and Zack Patterson; Brother, Tommy Wayne Smoot.

She is survived by her Husband, Jerry Chambless; Daughters, Melisa Orton (Keith), Carol Tankersley (Jason), Cheryle Patterson (Bobby), Jim Moore (Judy), Lori Ruddle (Marshall), Cassie Chambless, Tammy Brignac (Joe), LeAnne Garr, J.P. Chambless (Tracie), and John Moore (Jennifer), Sisters, Deb Wilkes and Pam Cheatam (Billy); Grandchildren, Jacob Patterson, Taylor Nix, Shelby Tankersley, Breanna Tankersley, Bailey Tankersley, Bryce Tankersley, and Bobbie LeAnne Tankersley; Several Great-Grandchildren and Great Great-Grandchildren.

The Visitation for Mrs. Sharon Lea Davis Chambless will be held at Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home on Saturday, November 25, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with the Funeral Service to follow at 11:00 a.m.

Interment will be held at St. Joseph Cemetery. Wayne Martin and Bryce Tankersley will be officiating.

Pallbearers will be Greg Smith, Eddie Wix, J.P. Chambless, Toby Massey, Bryce Tankersley, and Randy Shook.
