Larry Krick

Larry Dale Krick, age 73, of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed away on Thursday, August 1st, 2024 at his home in Lawrenceburg. He was born on February 22nd, 1951 to the late Arie and Dot Krick of Loretto. He was a 1969 Loretto High School graduate. Larry served as a police officer in Lawrenceburg for 26 years and would retire as the Captain of the City of Lawrenceburg Police Department. He was a member of Gum Springs Baptist Church. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, spending time with his children and grandchildren, and loved passing time and telling stories with his best friend and neighbor, Larry Matney.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Connie Krick; brother, Timothy Paul Krick.

He is survived by his children, Cindy Darnell (Frankie) and Jerry Krick (Candace); sisters, Brenda Henrick and Lisa Fisher (Vann); grandchildren, 5 grandchildren, Carley Reese (J.B.), Courtney Retherford (Dayne), Cassidy Darnell, Mikaela Flatt, Laken Krick, Kaylee Renfroe, Caleb Renfroe, and Peyton Renfroe; 3 great grandchildren, Anyston Grosinsky, Elodie Reese, and Cleo Retherford; 3 nephews, Colby McAnally (Allison), Trevor McAnally (Caroline), and Jaxson McAnally (Logan); beloved canine companion, Roscoe.

Visitation will be held at Gum Springs Baptist Church on Monday, August 5th, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The memorial service will begin at 2:00 p.m. Brother Chad Clanton, Tyler McDow, and Colby McAnally will be officiating.

The Lawrenceburg Police Department will serve as honorary pallbearers.
