John Franklin Skillian, age 86, of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed away on Friday, June 7th, 2024 at Mount Pleasant Health and Rehabilitation. John was born on November 20th, 1937 to the late Boyd Skillian and Fannie Barnes Skillian. For 20 years, he worked at Walmart as a door greeter and maintenance man. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing with his wife, Audry. He had a great love for the outdoors, which is where he would spend most of his time.
He is survived by his children, Connie Skillian, Brenda Skillian, John Skillian, Virginia Skillian, and Katherine Taylor; brother, William Skillian; grandchildren, Lotus Tupper, Paxton Tupper, Steven Easley, Shelby Skillian, Sarah Skillian, Beth Skillian, Johnny Hammers, and Ricky Hammers; stepson, Kevin Gaddis.
A memorial service will be announced at a later time.
