William Michael Haddad, 83, of Las Vegas passed away June 12, 2014. He was born October 14, 1930, in Paterson, New Jersey. William, known as "Bill", served as a Paratrooper in the United States Army. Bill was wounded in the Korean War, and thus was Honorably and Medically discharged. In spite of debilitating health in later years, Bill was full of life and had an inspirational smile for everyone including me - Connie his wife. I had the pleasure of working beside Bill until his health forced us to retire. For many years, he carved out careers for thousands of sales and marketing Timeshare successes. It was an honor to be a part of the Vacation Industry. To watch a man lead so many to a path of integrity and professionalism will forever be a light in my mind. In my heart, I will remember his love and devotion. Bill enjoyed traveling and was a friend to all who became a part of his life. I never tired of his stories about his childhood and the loving, devoted close family members. Bill was preceded in death by his parents Anthony and Mary Haddad; his older brothers Jack, Edward, George and Joseph; and his sister Elizabeth (Lee) Wardy. Bill is survived by his devoted sister Dr. Mary Haddad-Hayek; many wonderful nieces and nephews; his former wife Marlene and their four children Mark Haddad, Doretta Shelly, Sharlene Eldredge, and Father Wayne Haddad; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Bill will be put to rest in Las Vegas, Nevada where he shared his life, laughter and love with his second family. Bill is survived by his wife Connie; two step-sons Gregg and Jeff; step-daughter Tamarah Michelle, who lived with and lovingly helped care for her Dad Bill; one granddaughter; and one great-granddaughter.
Arrangements under the direction of Palm Eastern Mortuary, Las Vegas, NV.
