He was born in Waco, TX on March 12, 1941.
He was married to the love of his life, Judith Ann Douglas, nee Crump for 29 wonderful years. They spent a lot of years traveling on vacations and visiting family and friends. Bill was very quick-witted and lived life to the fullest.
He was a Veteran of the US Air Force and a member of the Free and Accepted Masons of Nevada, Mt. Moriah NO. 39.
William is preceded in death by his parents, William and Bernice (nee Smith) Douglas; his mother and father In-law, Gerald and Irene (nee Augustine) Crump and Brother, Kyle Douglas
William is survived by his wife, Judith Ann (Judi) Douglas, nee Crump of Henderson, NV, Step-Daughter, Patti (Buzz) Kreher of Belleville, IL; Step-Grandchildren, Molly (Wally) Rebmann of St. Louis, MO and Thomas (Jill) Pehle of Millstadt, IL ; Step-Great Grandchildren, Charlie Pehle and Walter Rebmann, IV; Sister In-laws, Wanda (Lowell) Hoffman, Normal IL, Cyndi (Dave) Dunmire, El Paso, Il, and many nieces, nephews and friends.
A memorial service will be held at Palm Eastern Mortuary on April 17, 2023, at 4 pm, with Pastor Paul Carter officiating including a Masonic Memorial Service. Reception immediately following.
