Wileana Nicholson Baltimore (Wall) was born on November 15, 1929 and received her wings on July 3, 2020 after 90 wonderful years of life. She was born to Marshall Nicholson and raised jointly with her stepfather George W. Mormon, who both preceded her in death. She grew up in Rockingham, NC where she attended Leak Street School and Rockingham High School, graduating in 1948. She went on to further her education at Johnson C. Smith University in Charlotte, NC. During her time at Johnson C. Smith, she married Thomas Jefferson Wall (Bo), who preceded her in death. Wileana and Thomas shared 4 daughters together, one whom preceded in her death. She graduated from Johnson C. Smith in 1952 with her Bachelor’s degree in French. She continued her college studies at American University in Washington D.C. and The University of Maryland in College Park, MD, where she received her Master’s degree in Special Education. Wileana later married Robert Baltimore, who also preceded her in death. Wileana was a housewife until she took her first position with the Federal Government, at the Bureau of Engraving. Her first teaching position was at Jennie Dean Elementary and High School, where she taught 3rd grade. Wileana then took a Special Education teaching position at Greenbelt Middle School, where she retired in June of 1992, after 26 years of service. From her first union, she leaves to mourn, 3 daughters; Gwendolyn Reed (George Reed) of Las Vegas, NV, Velma Wall of Indiantown, FL, Yvette Taylor (Robert Taylor) of Martinsburg, WV and her fourth daughter, Lette Wall, proceeded her in death. Wileana also leaves to mourn, her grandchildren, great grandchildren and a host of family and friends
