Wanda Jean Daniel

On Tuesday, January 3, 2023, Wanda Jean Daniel, a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother passed away at her home in Las Vegas. She was eighty-seven. She was born in Phalba, Texas on April 4, 1935.

She is survived by her husband Dave, her three children Jim (Lisa), Debbie (Joe), and Danna; Six grandchildren Jeremy Joyce (Janeen), Jesse Joyce, Nicole Gearing (Stacey), Dallas Daniel, Troy Petrelli, and Shelbie Welch (Joel); and five great grandchildren, Jared Joyce, Devan Joyce, Zoe Joyce, Jameson Joyce and Sara Camacho. Her granddaughter Brittany McCarty preceded her in death in 2022. She is also survived by her brothers D.L. Cantrell (Christine), Jerry Cantrell (Becky), and sister Linda Lamb (Jim).

Wanda and Dave were married in 1953 in Texas. After a few years of moving with the military they relocated to Reno, Nevada where all three children were born. In 1962 they relocated to Las Vegas. Wanda was a wonderful housewife and maintained a picture-perfect home for her husband and three children. Her family was everything to her. She will be dearly missed.
