Tina moved to Las Vegas in 1976, along with her mother Lisette Poulin, where she was surrounded by essentially a “village” of loving aunts and uncles who participated in her upbringing. She attended St. Joseph Catholic Elementary School and graduated from Bishop Gorman High School in 1986. Tina was a great student and socially active with the Bishop Gorman community, where she served on the Homecoming Court and school yearbook. She also donated her time and talents to the Bishop Gorman Alumni Association, participating with the Alumni school newsletter.
Tina's talents were many: from professional modeling and photography, to the real estate industry in both commercial and residential sales. She worked as a New Home Sales Agent with Pulte Homes Corporation for a number of years starting in 1996.
Tina Poulin married Jack Kerner in California in 2008 and later that year they welcomed their daughter Iyla Jackie. Tina was a devoted mother and participated in many school and social events for Iyla, from assisting teachers in the classroom to helping out with the Girl Scout Troop.
Tina always had family at the forefront of her life: she is survived by her husband Jack Kerner and their daughter Iyla Kerner; her mother Lisette Poulin; her father Paul-Amie Poulin and his partner Lucille Carrier; her uncle Robert Provencher, and aunts Sylvia DeAngelo and Beatrice Cayer; father-in-law Wayne Kerner; mother-in-law Joanne Ericson and her husband Ed Ericson. She also leaves behind many beloved aunts, uncles and cousins in Canada.
Tina was preceded in death by her aunt and Godmother Jacqueline Guay and her uncles Paul Guay and Rocky Cayer.
A memorial service is being held on Friday, March 9, 2018 at 11AM at Palm Eastern Mortuary located at 7600 S. Eastern Ave., Las Vegas, Nevada.
