Terry Arthur Obed

Terry A. Obed, 79, of Alton, NH, passed away Friday , December 24, 2021, in Las Vegas, NV. He was born June 4, 1942, to Jean and Howard Obed in Ithaca, NY, and was a resident of New York and New Hampshire. Terry served in the U.S. Navy and later worked in the automotive industry and ultimately retired from BAE Systems. He became a "snow-bird" after retiring and spent the summers at the lake in New Hampshire close to his son and wintered in North Las Vegas with his daughter and son-in-law. He was a wonderful and devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend. No matter what you needed, Terry was always there with his knowledge and desire to teach. Terry was preceded in death by his parents and loving wife of more than 50 years, Sally. He is survived by his son, Patrick Obed of Alton, NH; daughter, Dawn Locicero and son-in-law, Albe Locicero of North Las Vegas, NV; brother-in-law, Ken Donnelly of North Las Vegas, NV; his sister, Susan Prinz of New York; his brother, James Obed of North Carolina; his 2 grand-dogs, Bella, and Gabriel, and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Terry will also be deeply missed by his and Sally’s "fur-babies", Jasper and Miss Blue. Out of respect for Terry’s wishes there will be no official services. His immediate family will celebrate his life in an intimate, private way and his remains will be placed in a columbarium space in Las Vegas as he and Sally wished.
