Terresa (Terry) Ann Kluever, age 68, of Henderson, NV, passed away on October 28, 2016, at 11:40 pm with family by her side. Terry was born in Syracuse, Kansas, on March 29, 1948. In 1969, she married Emil Kent Kluever who retired as a U.S. Army Colonel prior to his death in 2007. Despite numerous military relocations, Terry earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Louisville, a Master of Arts from Western Kentucky University, and a doctoral degree in Educational Administration from Baylor University. Terry leaves behind her son, Larry Chad Kluever of Dallas, Texas, his wife Liz, and their children, Kennedy and Jackson; and her daughter, Lauren Courtney Kluever, and her son, Fox. Terry was an educator for 44 years, serving as a high school principal in Idaho before electing to return to the classroom in Las Vegas in 2000, where she remained until her retirement in 2013. Terry’s contributions to the field of education were significant, and she impacted the lives of many of her students. Everyone who knew Terry learned many valuable lessons from her, and all will recall her undeniably quick wit and infectious personality. Her family will forever remember her as a truly exceptional mother and grandmother, who dedicated herself to making their lives better. Visitation will be Thursday, November 3 from 6-8 pm at Palm Mortuary – Downtown. Funeral and burial will be 10:30 am on Friday, November 4 at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City.
