Sherry Lynn Pausch, 67, of Las Vegas, passed away in her home Aug. 30, 2011, due to complications from dementia. A hairdresser for 42 years and resident of Las Vegas for 23 years, she was born Jan. 16, 1944, in Cleveland, to Rose and Frank Kalifoot. She is survived by her husband, of 34 years, Robert; children, Robert Sylvester and Kathryn Sylvester of San Diego; stepchildren, Robert (Lori) Pausch of Madison, Ohio, Daniel Pausch of Las Vegas, Edward (Laura) Pausch of Rossford, Ohio, and Laurie (James) Bichsel of Las Vegas; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and her brother, Richard Kalifoot of Mentor, Ohio. Visitation 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 7, at Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., Las Vegas. Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept., 8 at St. Joseph, Husband of Mary, Catholic Church, 7260 W. Sahara Ave., Las Vegas. Burial immediately following at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Buchanan Blvd., Boulder City. Donations may be made to Safe Nest or to Creekside Hospice.
