Dear Shawn Browns Family and Friends,
I met Shawn back in 2012 he trained me at our job at papa johns as delivery drivers, he was the most funniest person and down to earth person I ever talk to, we remained friends for years, he was always rooting for me and my work, and I always gave the same in return, he was the best friend you would always want to have by your side. I just want to say thank you brother for all the laughs and good times, you truly will be missed.

Shawn was an amazing friend. There isn’t a memory that I have of Shawn that doesn’t make me smile or laugh. The first day I met Shawn was in 7th grade, he asked a group of us if we wanted to see something cool, of course we did, we were 7th graders! So he starts  spinning in circles and puked a pink circle. It sounds weird and gross but it was truly impressive and funny. Best first impression ever! He had a great sense of humor and he loved to see others with a smile and laughing. 
   Not only did he have a great sense of humor he was also very kind and gentle. In high school, I went to a different school, he took me to his prom, he was there when my mom remarried, when I had my first child, and he was there for me when my sister passed away. When he came to visit me last year he brought my daughters first birthday invitation which happened in 2000. And he was the only one who would eat Kelly’s Rice Krispy treats and told her with a smile on his face he loved them. 
   I will miss you dearly Shawn, thank you for being there for me, thank you for being genuine, for your kindness, your love and your humor. I look forward to the day we are reunited and I see that smile again and greeted with a that bear hug. I love you. 
     

To my birthday twin:
     I'm in disbelief. I've known you since we were 20. Every year... no matter what was going on in our lives, I could always count on a happy birthday from you. Whether it be Facebook or text/call. I know, at times we went months without talking. We were busy with marriage, kids, and jobs etc.  But, when the really hard times hit, we talked. Hours on the phone. About our life situations. Because they were alike in so many ways. Plus we have that gemini humor and witty jokes. There was never a dull moment. I just spoke with you about going on the Lake Havasu trip but I couldn't go because I had my kids. But, we texted. I told you what was going on with me and you told me.... "I'm proud of you buddy". That made my day. I still have your voice-mail on my phone. One thing I know is you were a great friend and the BEST father. Being a father was your life/calling. I will see you again. God bless buddy and your daughter is left in good hands. I know this because of all the wonderful things you would tell me about your mom and dad. And- I know you are in good hands, and are able to reunite with your son. Love you always. You were the light in a very dark room. ♥️

I can say with complete honesty that Shawn dragged me, kicking and screaming, through my teen years.

Shawn was genuinely one of the most sincere, understanding and caring people I've ever known. I owe a lot to him, for all of the support he offered me throughout the years we spent together, through all of the times he'd pick me up when I was at my lowest.

We grew up with a big group of friends and each one of them were and are great guys, but I don't think a single one would hesitate to agree that Shawn was the very best of us. It's not hyperbole, it's not exaggeration it's just the plain truth.

My Mom reminded me of the time she was stressing out as we moved a gigantic TV up a flight of stairs, and Shawn with the biggest smile on his face told her "Dee, we've got this" and she watched and Shawn took the brunt of that awful thing and muscled it straight up the stairs with a few of the boys guiding it ahead of him.

That was Shawn, the biggest smile on his face doing whatever he could to help everyone around him, always. I know that everyone who sees this will know exactly what I mean.

We were all so lucky to have shared time with him.

I love ya Shawn, and from the bottom of my heart, I thank you.

Shawn was like a member of our family.  A very close friend of our granddaughter and great grandson.  One day our daughter was reprimanding Remington (about 2 1/2 yrs old) and Remington started crying and said "I want my Shawn".  Shawn was so good to members of our family, we will miss him so much.  Our condolences to his sweet Mom, Dad and especially to little Heidi who was Remington's best friend.  They often referred to each other as sister and brother. Shawn was the best father and friend a person could ever hope for. Shawn has been there for me,  my daughter Cassie and my grandson Remington. Remington slipped and cut his head on his great grandmother‘s coffee table last year. Thank goodness Shawn was there and he held Remington (Shawm never called him Remy) and kept him calm while we bandaged him up.  There are so many moments that my heart is full and only because Shawn was present. There were many times I felt bad and cried on his shoulder and he made me feel better every time. He became like a member of our family and we will miss him immensely. We love you so much Shawn and we will be there for your family and especially Heidi.
