Shaun Ahern Taylor

Loving husband, father, grandfather and friend, Shaun Ahern Taylor, 61, of Las Vegas, passed away Friday, August 5, 2011. He was born June 24, 1950, in Tampa, Florida, and was a resident of Nevada since 1982. Shaun served in the U.S. Army and was a retired physician. Shaun was preceded in death by his son, Shaun Ahern Taylor Jr. (mother, Sandra); brother, Jake Taylor; father, Joseph W. Taylor III.; and mother, Nancy Ahern Taylor. Shaun is survived by his wife, Danelle Taylor; daughters, Shannon (Michael) Layne (mother, Sandra) of Las Vegas, Andriani (Elwood) Buck of Hawaii, and Nicole Lionakis of Las Vegas; sons, Patrick Taylor (mother, Gail) of Ft. Thomas, Kentucky, Jordan Taylor and Jeremy Conte, both of Las Vegas; grandsons, Brandon, Garrett, Dalton, Casey, Gary and Troy; and sisters, Ann (Frank) Scott, Michaele (Tom), Janet (Ted), Katie, Nora (Lolli) and Hilda. Visitation will be 12:30pm -1 :30pm Tuesday, August 9, with services following at 2:00pm, both at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Avenue. Burial following, at Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Arrangements under the direction of Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Avenue, Las Vegas, Nevada.
