Sarah K. McDade II Lippert

Sarah "Sally" Kathleen Lippert, 84, passed away peacefully July 21, 2010, in Spring Valley Hospital with family, friends and her minister at her side. Sally was born in Kane, Pa., April 1, 1926, but lived most of her life in Allegany, N.Y., until moving to Las Vegas in 1992. She is survived by her daughters, Susan Myers of Allegany, Jackie Hill of Las Vegas, and Linda Lippert of Goshen, N.Y.; and two grandsons, Drew Myers of Ireland and Blake Hill of Las Vegas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward G. Lippert; parents, James and Pearl McDade; brother, Jimmy; and sister, Jackie. Sally graduated from Kane High School and earned an associates degree from Jamestown Community College. In earlier years, Sally was an avid golfer, master bridge player, a member of the Sun City Steppers, loved cross word puzzles and learning in general. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. The family requests that gifts and memorials be made to Mountain View Presbyterian Church of Las Vegas or the Joyful Rescue Animal Foundation of Cuba, N.Y. Funeral services are pending and will be held in Allegany, N.Y. A memorial service will be held in Las Vegas at a later date.
