Sabina F. Mendoza

Sabina “Bing” Mendoza went home to Heaven on June 26, 2022. She was born August 29, 1937, in San Juan, Ilocos Sur, Philippines. She married Senen Gamel Mendoza on September 12, 1964, in Baguio City and eventually made her way to the United States after Senen enlisted in the United States Navy. Sabina was a resident of Las Vegas for the past 20 years. Prior to relocating to Las Vegas, she raised four wonderful children in San Diego, California.

Sabina earned her bachelor’s degree from Saint Louis University in the Philippines and was a dedicated mother who worked very hard as an administrative assistant while Senen was often away to sea during his career in the Navy. She dedicated her retirement years to raising four of her five grandchildren.

Sabina is survived by her daughters-Marie and Geralyn, and her sons-Frank and Charles, as well as her five grandchildren-Gisette, Chloe, Chiara, Xavier, and Chase.

Our family is very grateful to Lupe Mendoza for her constant care and support she gave Sabina during her last few years. Sabina was a very loving mother and grandmother, who will be truly missed by everyone who was blessed to have known her. We are heartbroken following the death of our mother and will remember her kindness and unconditional love.

Services to celebrate the life of Sabina will commence August 9, 2022, at 09:30 a.m. at St. John Neumann Catholic Church (40th Day Holy Rosary & Funeral Mass). Interment is August 10, 2022, at 8:40 a.m. at the Southern Nevada Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City Nevada.
