

Robert H. Stiehl was 94 years old residing in las Vegas. His transition was made on July 17, 2014. He was born on June 19, 1920 in Brooklyn, N.Y. and resided in Las Vegas for nine years. He served in the U.S Navy during World War II on the USS New Mexico, He also served in the U.S. Coast Guard for 10 years. Robert (Bob) was a butcher who owned several business for 25 years. Bob loved doing carpentry work and made many gifts for his children and grandchildren whom he loved with all his heart. His carefree spirit, his sense of humor and generous ways was just a few characteristics of who he was as a man. Hence, living a long and prosperous life. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter Erin Marie Stiehl. He is survived by his son, Robert H. Stiehl, Jr, daughters Lorraine Stiehl, Martha & Richard Mazzucca and Lynda & Joe Esposito also of Las Vegas. Bob had 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren (with one on the way). He will be missed dearly by everyone that knew him. Visitation will be on Monday, July 21, 2014 from 3-7 p.m. Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at Palm Mortuary N.W. The family requests that all donations be made to the Wounded Warriors Project.
