Robert Sheridan McCartney

He attended Amarillo, Texas schools. Robert was married to Mary Jo Meyer April 1989 and she preceded him in death. Other survivors include daughter Shanna Narath, daughter Peggy Pustejovsky and husband Leon, daughter Melanie Anthony and husband Billy and 8 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. He is also survived by nieces Cindy Edwards and Karen Aragon and husband, Ray, and cousins in Texas, California and New Mexico. Robert retired from Trans World Airlines after 35 years as a Customer Representative for Trans World Airlines. Robert was an avid golfer and member of the American Legion.

As children, we can’t comprehend Or fully realize the meaning of our Parent’s love, how tender and how wise, the patience and forgiveness that are Part of every day, the unexpected “little things” they do in their own way. Years go by before We can look back on life and see through older eyes and wiser hearts their love and loyalty, and yet it’s these and other special things We’ll hold so dear, for memories of their steadfast love will keep them ever near.
