In Los Angeles, California on October 31st of 1954, Richard, son of Aggeo & Lupe Zamorano, was welcomed into a loving family. He joined a siblingship alongside his loving older sister, Helen, and younger brother, Henry. As Richard journeyed through his youth, he enjoyed playing many sports, creatively writing, singing and making music, and participating in high school theater productions like West Side Story.
Richard would ultimately find his career footing in entertainment beginning in his adolescence when he was an usher at Mark Taper Forum music center. From there, Richard continued to grow his love for entertainment, music, and the arts.
In 1976, Richard moved to Las Vegas, Nevada to assist in opening the Aladdin Theater for Performing Arts. In 1978, while working a Doobie Brothers concert at the Aladdin, Richard would catch a glimpse of who would be the love of his life, Debbie Gaoiran.
After several attempts to win her attention, Richard and Debbie began a beautiful two year journey through love. On April 19th, 1980, Richard married Debra Eve Gaoiran. From this marriage came his beautiful children Lauren, Christina, and Aaron. From planning trips to Disneyland and Dodger Stadium to hosting weekly family dinners, the Zamorano family continued to make memories filled with laughter, music, and love.
Our loving Richard Victor Zamorano passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at 3:29 PM while surrounded by loved ones in Las Vegas, Nevada. Although he has shed his physical form, Richard has ascended to become a loving angel to many and a guardian to his family.
