Richard “Rick” Korowicki, a graphic artist and musician passed away peacefully on December 7, 2017 at the age of 65. He was born May 27, 1952 in New York. Rick lived in Las Vegas for the last part of his life and loved almost every minute of it. The golfing and the friends were wonderful, but the 115 degrees of summer heat, not so much.
Everyone he met became an instant part of his family, and he loved them all. He especially loved his brother, Bob, who was praised by Rick to anyone who would listen. His sister-in-law, Carol was always mentioned as the sweetest woman on earth.
His cousin, Anja came back into his life at a time when she was sorely needed to bounce ideas off of and just chew the fat.
His friends, Mike, Rick Schroder, Gary and all that knew him kept his laughter sharp. And last but not least, his wife, Lola that put up with all his mischief for 27 years. She loved him with all of her heart and always will. Rick will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Rick was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and C. Marie Korowicki; and his brother, Ronald Korowicki. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Lola Korowicki; brother, Robert (Carol) Korowicki; his best couch buddy, Dojo his loving and loyal dog; and extended family and friends.
A visitation will be Tuesday, December 12th from 9:00am to 12 noon with the funeral service to follow at Palm South Jones Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89146. Rick will be laid to rest at Palm Eastern Cemetery.
