Dina's bday and Priscilla always make me feel like family 💜

Mi amistad con Priscila es una que durará eternamente. Priscila era en mi punto de vista y en mi corazón como una hermana carnal y la mejor amiga que he tenido en la vida. La fe en Jehová de nuestros padres nos unió y llegamos a ser las mejores amigas. Tengo tantos recuerdos de nuestros años en la escuela, jugando y pasando noches juntas en su casa, y aventuras con nuestros amigos del vecindario. Aun separadas por distancia después de la primaria, llegamos a estar reunidas como adultas y llegue a verla transformarse en una bella mujer muy trabajadora y una madre amorosa semejante a su propia madre quien también amo y adoro como mi propia madre. Siempre la recuerdo como una persona positiva, dulce, alegre, y divertida. Siempre esforzándose para hacer lo mejor bajo sus circunstancias y pruebas. Jehová ha prometido que pronto la podré volver a ver de nuevo y si duele mucho saber que estará dormida por un tiempo. La extrañare mucho hasta que El decide el tiempo en el que el llamara su nombre y volverá estar con nosotros en persona aquí en la tierra. La volveré poder abrazar y tendremos la oportunidad de vivir juntas para siempre con nuestros amigos y familias. (Juan 5:28,29) Con mucho amor de parte de Jocelyn (Lopez) Duran 

My friendship with Priscila is one that will last forever. She was in my eyes and heart the closest to having a blood sister and best friend. Our family’s faith for Jehovah brought us together. So many memories of sleepovers, sitting together at Kingdom Hall meetings and conventions, play dates, and neighborhood adventures.  And though we were separated by distance after grade school, we were able to reconnect as adults and my love for her only grew. I was able to see her become a beautiful hard working woman and loving mother just like her own mother who I love and adore also. She was always of the sweetest nature, lively, fun and vibrant. Such a positive person despite trials or circumstance. Jehovah promises that I’ll see her again soon. It hurts to know she’s resting in sleep right now and I’ll miss her greatly until Jehovah calls her name out and he reunites us with her in the flesh, here on earth. I’ll be able to hug her again and she’ll have the opportunity to live forever with all of her family and friends. (John 5:28,29) Soon Jehovah will replace our tears of sadness with tears of joy when we see her again. With love, Jocelyn (Lopez) Duran. 

Heaven has gained an angel and a very special one at that. When I first met you, you were loud and obnoxious. You also talked crap about me being a pescatarian (which later you became one as well haha). I barely knew you; and Marianna invited me to go to Laughlin river with you and your family. Well she bailed and I literally never had a convo with you without Marianna, but I went anyways. Our friendship blossomed from there. I’m so happy I went too it was your family and then me a random gringa from work, imagine that. From that moment on we became so close so quickly. We didn’t just foster our friendship with going out, although we had sooo many nights full of laughter doing that, but we also understood each other and how important our family is to us. From family trips to Laughlin and floating down the river to camping out in 22 mph wind. From spending Thanksgivings together to you crying as we make my bouquets for my wedding the night before I will cherish every memory I made with you. I’m so thankful that I get to call you friend/sis. In my heart you’ll live on. Priscila I thank you for always being there and loving me. You even called me the day before my baby shower to help with any last minute things and offered to come early. You are thoughtful, selfless, passionate, loving, and so much more. I saw how wonderful you were in all roles of being a mother, daughter, sister, friend. You will be sorely missed Priscila, ain’t no one like you! I love you so much beautiful until we meet again. Love you! 

The years I was blessed to spend time with Priscilla as my best friend have been some of the best years of my life. She came into my life to teach me many things without her knowing. Priscilla was and forever will be like my sister she had a very big heart and always made sure to not hold a grudge or go to sleep mad. Always the life of the party everywhere we went she made a friend. Priscilla and I shared our first major trips together which were always filled with excitement and crazy unforgettable memories.  I believe God placed Priscilla in my life in the perfect timing. She never let me give up or be upset she always knew how to be positive and grateful and most importantly she truly knew how to be a friend. 
I was so proud of her for always accomplishing her goals.  I will forever have Priscilla in my heart, but I know that this is not a goodbye it’s just a see you later because I feel in my heart a sense of peace because I know she gave life to her years and now she is my angel . I love you Priscy my sister, my shopping buddy, my traveling  friend, the one who knew all my secrets. You were just my person and all I can be is thankful that I got to experience having a true friend who never let me down.
Forever will miss you but I will always remember you as a beautiful soul.
