Peter G. Richter, 81, of Henderson, NV passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2017. He was born on January 19, 1936 in Schenectady, NY to Ella (Voigt) and Paul Richter. He retired as a 37 year employee of the General Electric Company as a Contract Administrator. Peter is survived by his loving wife, Paula Morin Richter; his daughter, Christine (Dominic) Sciaudone of Goodyear, AZ; and stepson Paul J. Hilldenbrandt of Greenville, NY. He was predeceased by his parents and his brother, Ralph P. Richter. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Monday, July 17, 2017 at Palm Eastern Mortuary (7600 South Eastern Avenue Las Vegas, NV). A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at 10:30 am at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church (2300 Sunridge Heights Parkway Henderson, NV). Burial will follow at Palm Eastern Cemetery. The family requests that all gifts and memorials be in the form of donations to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Kanab, Utah, the local Salvation Army or St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Peter will be sorely missed by his loving family. Rest in peace. You will remain in our hearts forever.
