Paul Norman Labaj of Buffalo, New York passed away on Saturday September 9th at the age of 57.

Paul married his wife Marilyn in 2008 in Las Vegas, NV at the Little Chapel. Las Vegas was home for the last 20 years.

He was born on May 24, 1966 in Buffalo, New York where he grew up and graduated from Sweet Home High School in 1984.

Paul Loved Cars and football. Paul worked in the automotive industry since he was 18 years old starting in Buffalo and moving to Las Vegas in the 80s and Denver Colorado.

He worked as wholesale parts salesmen at Findlay Lincoln in Henderson, NV for several years and that was his final place of employment before passing.

He loved to get up early on Saturdays for years and go to Cars and Coffee where he met up with many car friends. He appreciated the effort and time maintaining his cars and keep them beautiful.

He loved travel, especially to San Diago Coronado Island. If it was anywhere near the ocean, he was ready to go.

Paul loved Avery and Chuck his “Pooches”. And shared a special bond with them.

When it came to eating PIZZA AND HOT WINGS! That’s what his order would have been. Hot and fresh with blue cheese (the right way no Ranch!).

A huge sweet tooth had him hooked on peanut butter cookies, dark chocolate and Tonys amazing cannoli from Great Buns.

He lived one day at a time and he didn’t stress the small stuff. His moto was tomorrow is a new day. And often told his wife “It’s only dirty paper (referring to money). We’ll make more.” So don’t worry.

He did have a sense of humor, but it was one that could take you by surprise if you let it.

Paul loved his man cave in the garage, watching his shows, Smoking Cigs and Drinking. He loved watching football games and talking with friends throughout. Paul was a huge fan of the Buffalo Bills so the last words you would hear him say was “GO BILLS!!!!!!” when he left a room.

Movies like the God Father, ROCKY and Soprano’s would entertain him for hours.

He was a “Pizon” if you know what I mean. As Paul would say,,,,,,,,,“Hey Don’t Bust My Balls”!!!!!

He was preceded in death by his father, Theodore Labaj, and grandmother Grace Rutan.

He is survived by wife Marilyn Labaj, his mother Arlene Labaj, his brother Christopher Labaj, his sister Denise Labaj-Racheal, daughter Katelyn Koziel Nicoloff, Step-daughter Leticia, niece Kristy Labaj, nephew Chase Labaj and 8 grandchildren.

The family would like to thank ProCare Hospice for the care and compassion they showed our loved one in his final days.

Most of all, Paul would want me to say thank you to all of his wonderful friends who have been steadfast in showing their love and concern for him often. He always felt your support and it has been a God send for his family to have you all beside when needed most. He would be beyond words at the love prayers and support of so many. The family would like to express So much love to you all. Thank You.

The Family would like to invite you to attend a Celebration of Life at The Palm Southwest Mortuary, 7979 W. Warm Springs Rd. Las Vegas. Family will receive friends from 4-6pm with memories shared beginning at 5pm.
