Patricia Ann Hans

Patricia Ann (Emmitt) Hans passed away suddenly on February 22nd. She left behind a loving husband, Ronald Conrad, three children and their spouses, Jon Eric (Lisa) Hans, Caryn Lee (Kurt) Burris and Michael Christopher (Liana) Hans along with seven grandchildren: Cheyne Patrick, Shelby Ann, Wyatt Hulbert, Paul Luis, Ian William, Ryan Conrad and Amanda Kate. Patricia was born in Los Angeles, California and was proud of both her Irish heritage and the fact that she was a true Valley Girl. After graduating from Canoga Park High School in 1955, Pat worked as an office specialist for the City of Los Angeles but quickly found a niche working for defense contractors, where she met Ron. Married in 1970, their young family started in West Covina, California before settling down in Irvine, California. In 1978, Pat began an over twenty year career working for the Irvine Unified School District. She was one of the original staff members who opened Woodbridge High School, and took great pride in contributing to the creation, development and the long lasting success of the school. Once retired, Patricia and Ronald moved to Las Vegas, Nevada and built their home in Siena Community located in Summerlin. Pat enjoyed participating in the Las Vegas Newcomers group along with her local Wine on Wednesday club. She loved to entertain, getting out to the movies and dining at new restaurants. Always sociable, Pat was quick to start up a conversation and loved nothing more than learning about new people and talking about her family and those seven grandchildren. She lived a long and fruitful life and she will be missed by many.
