Norman Higo, 76, a retired chief financial officer and executive vice president for Mikasa Fine China and retired president of American Commercial Inc., passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2015. He was born on September 23, 1938 to Moriei and Ritsuko (nee Yamashita) Higo and was a Nevada resident since May 1993. Norman served in the U.S Army during Vietnam. Norman is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Michiko Dring. He is survived by his beloved wife, Donna Higo (nee Baker) of 26 years; two sons, Colin of Henderson and Garett (Michelle) of Manhatten Beach, CA; grandson, Nathan Higo; two nieces, Julia and Lisa Dring; and one sister, Judy (Harry) Yonemura of Torrence, CA. Funeral services will be at 11:00AM on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at King David Memorial Chapel, 2697 E. Eldorado Lane. Burial will follow at the King David Memorial Cemetery. Family requests that memorial donations be sent to any lung cancer research organization. King David Memorial Chapel handled the arrangements.
