Norma Zeigler Poole

November 29, 1926, in Satsuma, Florida to Ellen & Norman Zeigler.

Norma worked as a nurse’s aide at the Duvall Home in Glenwood, Florida for many years before

relocating to Las Vegas, NV to be with her daughter and son-in-law. She worked at Glen Halla nursing

home in Henderson, NV with her daughter and retired from there. After retirement she did some

traveling with her niece and sister before settling fully back in Las Vegas and working at JM Ullom

Elementary School in a foster grandparent program until 1999.

Norma had a strong passion for reading, she could sit and do it for hours. She also had a love of frogs.

She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and especially enjoyed her great grandchildren, they

always lit up her face with the biggest smile.

Norma was received by her mother Ellen and father Norman, sisters Ruth, Joyce, & Barbara, son Robert

and son-in-law Richard Hunter.

Norma is survived by her daughter Brenda J. Hunter of Las Vegas, NV, her son Michael Zeigler of Deland,

Florida, her grandkids Richard Hunter Jr of Las Vegas, NV, James Hunter of Henderson, NV, and April

Hunter of Las Vegas, NV as well as Keith, Doris, and Naomi of Florida. Also, by her great grandkids

Matthew Embry of Las Vegas, NV, Kylie Hunter of Henderson, NV, Brett Hunter of Reno, NV and

Montana Britt of Las Vegas, NV, one great-great-great grandson Priince of Las Vegas, NV and one niece

Ann Kurth of North Carolina.

A small service with family will be held at Palm Eastern Mortuary & Cemetery on Friday, April 29th, 2022,

at 10:00am.
